Scene study and monologue work with Shakespeare’s Greatest Hits. Work with the moments that have astounded, inspired, and wrenched audiences for centuries. We will devote a special emphasis to the dynamics that still resonate so clearly today. This class can also be audition prep for KCPT’s upcoming season auditions.
Instructor: Crystal Eisele
Crystal recently relocated to Port Townsend, after over a decade in Denver, performing a range of characters from the Angel in Angels in America, to Isabella in Measure for Measure, to Rose in Dancing at Lughnasa. She has worked with the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, the Colorado Shakespeare Festival (where she was an original member of their touring company, playing Olivia in 12th Night, Prospero in The Tempest, and Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing), and the Boulder Ensemble Theatre (where she performed in many plays including the world premier of Dava Sobel’s And the Sun Stood Still). She has been a performer and teaching artist for 18 years, last appearing on the KCPT stage as Hovstad in An Enemy of the People.
